Use it to get cash at an ATM. Or use it make purchases – any place that accepts MasterCard will accept your debit card. Just remember to keep track of the transaction since it will be debited from your checking account!

As a student, you won’t be assessed any foreign ATM fees. We can’t always control surcharge fees of other banks, but if you find an ATM with a “Privileged Status” logo, the surcharge will be waived as well.
