A. BillPay is a free, automatic bill-paying service where monthly bills are taken directly from your checking account. You simply provide the names, addresses and account numbers of the businesses or people you want to send money to. Here are just some of the benefits you receive with Online BillPay:
- Pay anyone, anywhere, anytime.
- Pay all merchants on one page, or pay them one at a time.
- Check your pending payments.
- View a payment history for all your merchants.
- Set up payments on a one-time or recurring basis.
- List of frequently used merchants.
Payments will be sent by the bank to the companies or individuals by the due date you specify. You can make single payments or ones that recur and need to be paid weekly, monthly, annually or whenever you like. Set up the number of payments and forget about it. Just be sure you have the money in your account to cover the bills when they are scheduled to be paid.
NOTE: The minimum Online BillPay payment is $5 and the maximum payment is $10,000.
